How In The Hell Did I Make The Honor Roll?!
“I am embarrassed to admit what drew me to psychology. I didn’t want to go to medical school. I was getting good grades in psychology and I was charismatic and people in the psychology department liked me. It was as low a level as that.”
— Ram Dass
I knew that when I returned to college, this time around would be different. I knew that I was much more focused and serious about school than I was right after high school. I also knew what I wanted to do…be a Psychologist.
I also knew that I tend to procrastinate in general, coasted by with mostly B’s and C’s in high school, and that it would be a long and difficult road this time around.
My first semester, I managed to pull off a 3.5 GPA which landed me on the Honor Roll! I got the notice in the mail today and I couldn’t have been more excited. I know it sounds dorky, but it truly made my day. Of course, now I want a 4.0.
I think I may actually be able to DO this!
Thanks for stopping by!
