Blogging

“Journal writing is a voyage to the interior.”Christina Baldwin

Yes, that’s right, I’m blogging about blogging!  Slow news day here in my life?  No, not at all.  It’s just been officially one week since I started this blog and it has already been an amazing experience for me.

This is basically an online journal.  I write about whatever random thought, feeling or subject that I feel like writing about at that moment.  It’s much faster than handwriting, I can do it while doing other things on the computer and I can quickly open up a new tab to look something up when necessary.

Most importantly, for me, is that whatever I post in my online journal is “out there”.  Literally anyone with an internet connection can read it.  This public component adds a dimension I didn’t expect.  It is very liberating to know that whatever crazy, boring, embarrassing, emotional or painful thoughts were in my head are now public.  I am completely exposed, emotionally naked.  After a lifetime of keeping up appearances, repressing my feelings, hiding my true self, this was difficult for me at first.  However, after only one week, I realize how helpful it actually is to me.

Needless to say, I highly recommend it to anyone.  I appreciate all the feedback via comments and e-mail that I’ve received.  I’m also appreciative to my fellow bloggers, several of whose blogs I am now following on a regular basis and who provide additional inspiration to me.

Thanks for stopping by and blog on!

Again I am in WOW mode to what you are doing here.

Cyndi all of this blogging is so freaking AWESOME!

Keep it up…you are enhancing my life with your wisdom and willingness to be so open to the world!
I have kept your original email and have popped in daily to check out what your thoughts are. Truth be told I have always thought of you as a rock hard person who didn’t really get emotional about to many things, but the more I read the better I get to know you. I will be adding you and your family to my prayer list. Not because you “need it” but because I believe God has many Blessings laid out for you.

God bless you and your family.
    Rai :)

Thank you both VERY much! I just got tired of the “rock” image I worked so hard to create. It’s all BS. We are all just human. Thanks again for reading and for your support! :)

I am really so excited for you, and so happy for you that you’ve started to love blogging. Keep blogging, and your readership will grow, just watch! Sometimes it takes a while, but it’s pretty cool when it happens.

I started blogging after my aunt suggested it to me, and fell in love right away w/being able to put it all out there…however I never expected it to grow like it has. Now I’m seriously addicted to checking stats…ha ha. While I enjoy blogging for my readers, I also enjoy it as a fun hobby for myself. It’s never work – it’s just a fun way to let out my creative thoughts or findings. Keep it up, girl!

    Best,
    Jaime
